I was talking to my guy just now and one interesting topic came out. If given the chance, what would we alter during our 2 years of stay in Wellington? The list is as follows:
Him:
1) Kumpul duit banyak banyak
2) Travel more
3) Improve his grades
4) Walk along Oriental Bay more often
5) Layan cik Nisya clubbing sekali sekala
6) Get to know more people
Mine:
1) Learn pole dancing and finish the whole course
2) Amik "Barang" with him just to nengok how bad/cute we can go "weng"..
3)Buat rambut dread lock
4) Walk around Oriental Bay more often
5) Buy more dresses
6) Finish my yoga classes
In conclusion, both us seem to agree that it will be a bad idea to be an item when we were there.
As for me, I regretted that he did not save as much there. Of course he wished i took pole dancing class and finish the god damn syllabus.. "personal development" katanya..

Stupid stories I wrote
Reminiscing on my non-existent writing skills, it occured to me how stupid and foolish all the stories that i wrote, especially during examinations. I was even foolish enough to write a very sexist essay for a scholarship interview!! (still blaming the essay). Here are some of those that I managed to remember:
A) SPM english trial paper
I wrote an essay on a girl. A very bitchy one. A boy from school was expelled because she accussed him of trying to rape her. The boy left and became a drug addict. He died out of it. He was her fan, actually.
I failed this paper, I didnt bother to complete the rest of the paper. It was a six page essay. Janji puas hati..
B) Petronas Interview
"We should create more female engineers who are capable to compete with male engineers". One of the lines that I wrote. Bodoh kan????? Ingat nak masuk parti feminist ke ape???
C) Delf A3 french exam
" I plan to have 1000 kids when i grow up and I want to become a teacher" (translation). I cant remember how to write 10 in french. I was a bit ambitious kan? Blame it on the 16 year old hormone fluctuations.
d) New pants, please
I wrote an essay during social studies class on how much i wanted to buy a pair of jeans. But mom didnt allow, saying that the family can use the money for something else. (Bersamamu style, please) I was called by my social studies lecturer. I had a lecture on how to spend wisely..instead of a new jeans..What was I thinking?

Once there were two bestfriends; a boy and a girl. Both were equally good looking.(not so important point). The boy used to tease the girl because of her braces while the girl used to tease the boy because of his Hawaiian shirt that he wore during their first meeting. They became good friends and they often called each other during school holidays. The girl was in JB and the boy was in Perak. After SPM, the boy was in KMB and the girl was in IPBA. The friendship is now 8 years of age. Many things had happened along the way, many things have changed. He is still her best friend and she is still his best friend. They both plan to serve those people in the rural areas. He is listed among the top 12 best students in his class. She has 12 boyfriends. Both had succeeded in different areas of their life. He still loves to nag,she still loves to bitch about his school friends. He can't hardly wait to be her childrens' favourite uncle, she can't hardly wait to be his childrens' stylish aunty. Both appreciate the friendship as what it is. This friendship made the girl stronger.. She hopes this friendship will last to the very end. As for now, the girl is praying hard that the boy aces his examination so that the award would be his!

Kecut hati
Kecut hati for me is like kecik hati in B.M. Lately aku byk kecut hati. Kecut hati ni semakin menjadi jadi..tak tau kenape.i chose to write this in B.M. ade certain emotions yang English tak ley describe. Mungken juge mat saleh tak emosi cam aku kot sbab tu derang tak reka la perkataan English yang match ngan what i feel. Kenape ek aku kecut hati? ade due tige sebab aa..antaranye ade org kate lifestyle aku ni mcm tk betul sikett. Hmph. ni bkan isu aku gi clubbing ke ape, tapi pasal family aku. Cemane aku layan ibu bape aku..Org kate aku kasar aa ngan parents aku. Aku just nak clarify, family aku ni bkan cam family korg. We believe in freedom of expression. Sbgai org luar, saye minta janganlah anda judge. Ape kate kita semua hormati masing masing nye care hidup dan cara komunikasi.

Nisya Has the Ability to be.............
Nisya has the ability to be............ I had asked this question randomly to a few friends last weekend. The answers were various. The beauty of this survey was that, I now know why and what they feel about me. I can also see obvious patterns in their answers. Their answers were as follows:
1. Nisya has the ability to be gedik sometimes. (Nina). Now Nina is my best friend. In the clan, I am usually the most composed, the one whom everybody believes to be the most serious. However, she also knows that underneath this seriousness, i can be unbelievably gedik. Especially when i start tossing my hair and laughing out like crazy.
2. Nisya has the ability to be super gedik (Jepp). Jepp is a friend.Probably he saw my gedik side once. Overall i would say, he was not taking the question seriously. Probably he was just talking to someone gedik before i asked him. Hence 'gedik' was the first verb that came to mind. (I AM IN DENIAL)
3. Nisya has the ability to make someone happy. (Syore). My exschoolmate, whom has given me the sweetest answer. Despite this, I know she was browsing FACEBOOK..haha
4. Nisya has the ability to be hard working (Kurt). A friend in Wellington, whom saw me working my ass off during summer 2007.
5. Nisya has the ability to be what she wants to be (Sayda). Another friend whom quoted a self help or a motivational book.
6. Nisya has the ability to be sleepy in class the whole time (Nisa K). She sits in front of me in lecture hall most of the time. I think she is deceived by my genetically droopy eyes..(Still In Denial)
7. Nisya has the ability to be a SUPER secretary. (Aishah). I dont have any idea where this comes from. Honestly
8. Nisya has the ability to be confident and to be herself (Ana Shirin). A close friend, whom felt that i can be myself most of the times.
9. Nisya has the ability to be the governer of bank negara (Durra). My ex roomate, who is an avid believer that both of us are in the wrong course. She knows how much i yearn to learn economics.
10. Nisya has the ability to make me confuse. (Dayah Z) ni jawapan jawapan tak bajet.
11. Nisya has the ability to be so emotional (Najiah). Another schoolmate whom was stuck with me during my emo era( adolescence).

If Allowance Masuk
My allowance has been delayed for at least 2 months. A bit financially challenged now, I feel the constant need to plan what i would do with the money when i receive them. Many things to buy, many things to do. The list is as follows:
a) Tampal gigi. My mentos fetish has finally shown its effects. As chot (my bestfriend) was saying, "Sebelum ko jadi Flava..baek tampal gigi ko tu.." Total cost, 700 rm.
b) My Bobbi Brown liquid foundation. Have been going out with a few people without barely any make up on..Dangerously showing all my flaws.. Wait until they know about my teeth. Total cost 135 rm
c) The compilation set of Oscar Wilde's novels. He is my fav gay guy after all. Total cost 50 rm
d) The gap jeans which i have been setting my eyes on. Cannot fit into skinny jeans anymore la kan..So have to buy more jeans. Total cost 300, rm.
e) Bali trip. Total cost 1000 rm

The Important Things That Are Left Unsaid
This morning, I woked up to the beep of my kodi handset. There was an sms from my ex. For the hundreth time he said that he was sorry for what he had done. Point taken encik bebel. Of course, his sms left me distressed the whole day. I wanted to say many things to him but time and ego had prevented me to do so. Hence, after 6 hours of contemplating on writing this blog, I decided to write about what i have longed to say to some people; especially those who used to be part of my life.

- Sebenarnye i just wanted to say that i called you a lot of times the night before kite break up. I takut nak gi te kotahinga around 6 o'clock alone as it was dark. It was still winter. You didnt pick up. I did not forget you entirely that night. Te kotahinga memang susah nak dapat line.IT WAS VODAFONE!!!!
- The part when you smsed me " aku doa kapal terbang ko terhempas." hurts the most. Tak yah doakan aku mati weh..
- I kecik hati you bawak other girl to be your partner during the cultural award night. I was the one who had to put up with your tantrums sepanjang you jadi president OMSA.

Anak abah oo anak abah
Last weekend, i had to go back home. Mom was sick. Thank god, dad was in KL too with uncle T. I was a bit shy of course since uncle T is an old friend of dad. In my head i was imagining that he will say things like any other old friend of my dad would say, " Anak lu dah besar aaa. Ingat tak wa dulu ****" Yes,my dad still uses pronouns such as "lu" and "wa" until now. (Thus the rock kapakness in me is inherited from dad). Anyways, i just wanted to share with you guys what uncle T said to me when i arrived at nasi kandar pelita, in front of avenue K.
abah: "Ini gf baru gua" (referring to me)
uncle T: "Wa manyak tinggi oo." This is a mockery to dad :)
abah: "Lu gila ka, ini anak wa".
Nisya: still blank..nak salam ke tak my dad ni..
Uncle T: " Wa lu ikot macam mak lu.tinggi...lu blaja mane?"
Abah: " Wants to follow us. Wanted to go back naek bus"
Uncle T: OOOOOOOOOOOO..Lu gila ka mau naek bus? got mercedes u want to take bus what for? U have to pay me bus fare.. Double.."
NIsya: * speechless* Org tua ni btol ke nak soh aku blanje? Rugi lagi aku...
Uncle T really meant what he said. Nothing is for free including riding his car. I had to buy him a Dunhill. Still worth it I guess..
Then on Saturday morning i had another conversation with dad. We call this "breakfast with duet selit" sessions. In case you guys are wandering what duit selit is, my dad usually selit 10 ringgit after pasar for his ciggies. And then, when mom ask about the balance, dad being the perfect accountant, would always increase harga telur or bawang or the fish. As what dad says," Skill ni penting untuk kebahagiaan rumah tangga". There is a special way of actually folding duet selit, and me and my second brother have mastered this skill well. After ordering 2 teh tarik, abah started the conversation. I dreaded this topic but i was well prepared to answer. The conversation as far as i remembered was as follows:
Abah: Budak tu dah nak balik dah kan?
Nisya: Budak mane?
Abah: Ala yang pergi US tu.. (referring to my ex, ch**m.)
Nisya: Entah, Don't care la..
Abah: Sya ade boifren? Bile sya nak kawen ni?
Nisya: *Damn damn* (inner thoughts). Entah la bah, jodoh ade kawen, tade jodoh tak kawen.
Abah: Uhm..(His only daugher knows this tone so well)
Nisya: Abah risau eh Nisya takde boifren?
Abah: Uhm....
Nisya: Abah dulukan suruh sya doa for the best. The best of course la Allah saves for the last. No abah, sya tak putus ase lepas ch**m. Abah janganla risau..ok?
Abah: Bagusla doa..tapi skang kene doa kasi cepat sikit.. mama ko tu dah bising. (i know this is him talking and not mommy yang risau)
Nisya: OK. If i get one who has half of your attributes, im the luckiest girl in the whole entire world.
Abah: tak yah nak sweet talk. U learnt that from me..
Nisya: Cett ..(inner thoughts).
Abah: Sya bayar. Rokok skang dah naek harge.
Nisya: Yelah tu...(inner thoughts).
From this i know that my dad is worried about my future. So yes, got la to find one boyfriend now..for my dad's sake. of course..hehe..

Bunga Api
Today i am in my melancholic mood. Yes, the mood when i believe life sucks and prozac would be the key to solve all my problems. Trying my best to control these unwanted thoughts, i decided to follow all the rest of the Wellingtonians to maen bunge api. Yes, bunga api! Not cikai cikai ones mind you....We are indeed talking about those huge, chunky and multicoloured ones. Thanks to encik NJB la kan for buying the whole trunk. ( i dont know how much they cost). It was fun; laughing, shouting and simply watching the bunge api (s) . Having said this, those who are close to me must remember how much i enjoy watching bunge api. My jaws will go drop open and my eyes wont blink everytime i see the bunga api shows. Regardless whether i am next to a Kiwi hunk during guy fawkes, mat rempit Melaka near MITC, or the Indonesians near KLCC for Merdeka or New Year. Bunga api shows never failed to make me happy. Almost all of my exes know this. Hence, when i was mad at them for being late they will drive me to KL area Bukit Bintang to stop me from nagging or babbling. Chiem used to do 3 rounds. Vijay had to do 5 rounds (motor extra effort la kan). in fact, they find this habit of mind rather amusing. Hence point of this entry would be: Senang dapat awek cam aku ni, just rent an appartamento next to Bukit Bintang, i wont nag...ever..

A tribute to My 9802 friends
I dreamt about my friends last night. I woke up smiling. In fact, I noticed that when I'm dead tired i will usually dream about the same thing; me having fun with all the chicas in school. Nothing fancy, just the normal going to school routines, we shall dress up since it is friday nite(although we are stuck inside school) sessions and also the let's -curi -food from dining hall since kite- memang ade share- pon kan ? activities. Since I miss you guys so much, probably i should tell the rest of the world, what you guys were like in school? (balas dendam mode, peeople). These are some of the people that have shed tears and laughed joyously with me everyday since i was a petite AA till now a generous **(metaphorically speaking). We shared a lot, despite our differences. Im trying my best to include everyone, but im just human kan? and the list is not according to preference, I had to start with someone anyways kan? Opah I speaking London, you know..
Selamat Hari Raye!!! Still in my Hari Raya Mode, it striked me to blog about an incident during this year's Hari Raye. Celebrating my second hari raye in Wellington, i had to call all my relatives. I called my mom who was in Tapah at the moment. Pretty clear, this year my mom won the battle. Anyways, after all the "selamat hari raye. mintak maaf sume salah silap", annual speech, i had to talk to the rest of my aunties and uncles. Suprisingly, all spoke in English and they were trying very hard to do so. I was stunned and replied back to them in Malay to prove my point : i can still converse in BM. Next waiting was my 76 years old grandmother.
Opah: Nisya, selamat hari raye. Maaf zaher batin.
Nisya: Selamat hari raye opah. Opah, sehat?
Opah: Goooddddddddd! You come Tapah? (ami, btol tak ape opah cakap, talking back to my little brother) (shouting from behind, ami said "btol" "btol"
Nisya: *Speechless* Managed to say "soon" after a twenty seconds pause.
Opah: Gooodddddddd!!!!!!!! I love you..Come Tapah!
Nisya: *Teary eyes*
I shed my tears for two things; One is because of my grandmother's effort to talk to me in English which proves how much she loves me. Second, Ami's English is so rotten that he will need some intensive English grammar course with his kakak when she gets back to Malaysia!! Talking about cari pasal, kan Ami?
Opah: Nisya, selamat hari raye. Maaf zaher batin.

A few weeks back, i called one of my very own stf9802 sister. We talked and as usual we will tracked back all the old memories (despite the repetitions we still find this routine very interesting). She kutuked (i know i am an English teacher going to be) me on my grandmother's bag which i wore in form one (the bag is indeed my tok mak's) and we talked about how we actually stole a penunu bunsen from chemistry lab just for the sake of having better heated marshmallows. Then offguardedly, i was given a killer question "Ko dulu score 6/10 on the depression continuum test, ko OK ke skang, syerque?". Kudos for her for remembering and yes, hell yeah i was taken aback with such unexpected question. I answered "aku ok, it's just an one off thingie, hormon terlebih". She then said, " You went through a lot and all of us are so damn proud of you. What is the secret aaa?" . I smiled to myself proudly and knew despite all the adversities, i actually made it. So, what is my secret ?
1. Your parents', friends' and boyfriends' problems are not your problems. Always remember this so that you won't blame any when you are faced with problems.
2. TAAT kepade ibu bape. . (No options here). Simple kan? Jangan kasi options like, "parents i tak educated sgt, derang tak paham bende bende ni, susah la i nak ikot cakap derang", "alah, parents i pon buat juge time derang mude mude dulu".
3. A lesson well learnt from abah which is related to number 2: Bakti kat parents sementare derang masih hidup lagi, kalo dah tade, nanges kat kubur tiap tiap hari pon tak gune. So yeah, always show your love while you can: to your parents, siblings, lovers and friends before its too late.
4. Always categorize your problems. I usually categorize them to two sections which are: ongoing and never ending problems and also short term problems.
5. never, never, watch drama Melayu or crite hindustan( the emotional ones) when you are having your blues. This is crucial.haha..trust me on this.
6. Do not make excuses and do not blame others. for instance, my dad selalu takde kat umah, tu yang i slalu kuar tu..my friends slalu clubbing and drag i, tu yang i slalu ikot tu, adek beradek i pon buat juge, derang turn out OK je"..(you are your own master)
7. Your sanity is your most valuable treasure. Indulge in the 400 dollars Marc Jacobs mary janes if you need to, play the X-box for 10 hours if you need to, eat as much as you want if you need to.
8. Always bersyukur ( a lesson from mommy) and dont compare and contrast with others. Being highly competitive once, i have learnt to tone down. you cant get all, and being too hard on your selves will burn you out.
9. You know yourself the most. what others think of you is only half of the equation.
These are some of the things that helped me to go through all the adversities. Hope some will benefit out of it. Nevertheless, more are yet to be learnt and shared.
